The Ipswich Youth Girls Lacrosse Clinics, which have run for the past six years, will be held again this summer on Wednesday, August 19 on the turf at Jack Welch Stadium at Ipswich High.
Run several times each year in the summer and occasionally in the fall, these clinics are run by Ipswich High girls lacrosse players and coaches for youngsters from kindergarten up to eighth grade. The goal is to develop relationships between the youth and high school players through encouragement and motivation, as well as give them the opportunity to look up to the varsity players.
The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 19 and costs $30 for the session.
At the last session in July, youngsters learned from IHS varsity standouts Kylynne Courville, Ella McCarthy, Ella Schofield, Natalie Elder, Reagan McPartlin, Maddie Machaiek and Aubrey Kelleher.
