CHAMPAIGN — The Danville Area Community College women’s basketball team came out with some offense, but Parkland College had a little bit more.
The Lady Jaguars fell to the the Cobras 86-59 in Dodds Gymnasium on Wednesday.
Victoria Gonzalez had 21 points and two steals for DACC, who was down 49-28 at halftime, while Jaydah Arrowsmith had 13 points, Addison Seggebruch had eight points, Ayanna Smith had seven points, Julissa Danglade had six points 12 rebounds, three blocks and two assists and Adeline Wright had four points and five rebounds.
Stacie Vonderheide had 16 points to lead Parkland, while Maliah Sparks had 15, Crissiana Rose had 14 and Trinity Harden added 13 points.
The Lady Jaguars are 16-8 and 5-5 in the Mid-West Athletic Conference and will return home on Saturday to play Spoon River at 1 p.m.
