CUMBERLAND — A city woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly assaulted a person at a South Liberty Street residence, then two police officers who attempted to arrest her. Both officers and the victim were injured, Cumberland Police said.
Amber Marie Diehl, 35, was charged two counts of second-degree assault, violating conditions of pretrial release on a previous assault charge, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She was being held Sunday without bond in the Allegany County Detention Center.
Police said the incident happened just after 4 p.m. in the 100 block of South Liberty.
