A popular musical takes the stage this week as the Windham High School Theatre Company presents “Mamma Mia.”
Performances are Friday, March 24, 7 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 26, 1 p.m. at the high school, 64 London Bridge Road.
The show features a cast of student performers who will bring the musical to life, including all the songs made famous by the band ABBA like “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” and “S.O.S.”
The musical is under the guidance of director Alison O’Brien and high school choral director Blake Leister, with choreography by Emma Fitzpatrick along with Jillian Mastroberte and NancyBella Rago.
The show is most appropriate for those 13 and older and is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
Tickets are available at ticketsstage.com/T/WINDHS. Online sales end March 23 but tickets will be sold at the door at the beginning of each performance. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for children, students and seniors.
