HAVERHILL — Another set of seniors are nearing the finish line, anticipating a diploma to match their caps and gowns.
Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, 115 Amesbury Line Road, will hold its graduation ceremony from 7 to 9 p.m. today, May 29.
Proud parents will watch their sons and daughters cross the stage on the turf field just outside the school building.
As the school counts down its senior’s last days, the front office confirmed that the graduating class is 307 students strong.
It’s been four years of hard-work for them, learning far more than English, history, science, and math. Students at Whittier Tech, one of 28 vocational-technical schools in the state, study carpentry, culinary arts, electronics, engineering, plumbing, and other trades.
All students will have an early release today; a school day with only four periods that ends at 10:44 a.m. After dismissal, staff will remain on campus to participate in the Senior Awards Ceremony and Luncheon in celebration of the graduates.
The school also announced its Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees for the Class of 2025. This included players like Nikki Fourtzialas, Dillon Ryan, Andrew Wells, Jason Pena, and Shannon Constantine.
Finally, these young adults are ready to toss their caps in the air, headed for college, the workforce, or whatever path they prefer.
