GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Peabody Library, located at 2 Maple St., Georgetown, is hosting the following events:
Beyond the Page: Unbound Book Creations by Dr. Dael Angelico-Hart for the months of May and June. This art exhibit will be showcased in our display cases upstairs. An artist reception will take place upstairs near the display cases on Friday, May 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Angelico-Hart lives in Groveland. She was an elementary teacher, administrator and reading consultant for over 50 years. But during this time, she dabbled in many media before focusing on altered books and unique books in many forms. In addition to altered books, she builds birdhouses and castle sculptures out of books. She also creates one of a kind “cabinets of curiosities”.
