CUMBERLAND — A Westernport man was jailed on a temporary commitment Tuesday when he was taken into custody on eight bench warrants, according to Cumberland Police.
The warrants served to Jared Nathaniel Citarelli, 35, were for multiple failures to appear in court and violations of pre-trial release conditions. The cases involved drug violations and hit-and-run traffic violations, police said.
Citarelli was scheduled to appear in circuit court Wednesday after being jailed without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center. He also appeared in a bond hearing before a district court commissioner before being confined.
