NEWBURYPORT — The PEG Center for Art and Activism, Storm Surge and The Screening Room are partnering to present the film documentary “We Are All Plastic People Now” on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m. at the State Street cinema.
“We Are All Plastic People Now” investigates the pervasiveness of plastic pollution, including its impact on communities, health and the natural environment. The screening is timed to coincide with the Peg Center’s current environmental art exhibit, “Sea Change.”
The film will immediately be followed by refreshments and an after-talk at the PEG Center (3 Harris St.) featuring Andrea Lacroix, an activist with Beyond Plastics, and a speaker from Newburyport’s own Storm Surge.
