Strader, who was reported missing on April 4 after not being seen for several days, was found April 6 by investigators from the sheriff’s department in the 1700 block of West Williams St.
Chief Investigator, Captain Michael Hartshorn said on Friday, “yes, it is a homicide investigation. Nothing further to release at this time.’’

Amanda Boe, the sister of Strader, put up a GoFundMe titled “Funeral for Murder Victim Timothy Strader” shortly after investigators discovered her brother’s remains. At this time, they have raised $620 for funeral expenses.
“Our family is heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with this sudden and tragic loss,’’ Boe said. “Timothy was a loving son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. His passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled.”
