LAKE PLACID — U.S.A. Bobsled-Skeleton has extended its partnership with cowbells.com through 2034.
The collaboration began in 2020 and has been extended to 2034.
“We’re proud to extend our MOO-velous partnership with USA Bobsled-Skeleton through 2034,” Elisabeth Halvorson, founder of Cowbells.com, Inc., said in a press release.
“Winter sports and cowbells have gone together for generations, and there’s nothing like the energy fans create when they ring bells and cheer athletes down the track.”
With the Winter Olympics set to return to American soil in eight years, this renewed licensing agreement positions both brands to build momentum, engage fans and support the next generation of U.S. athletes.
As part of the agreement, Utah-based Cowbells.com will continue producing officially licensed USA Bobsled-Skeleton cowbells, with a portion of proceeds from every sale directly supporting the organization and its athletes.
Since 2020, Cowbells.com bells have become a trackside staple at bobsled and skeleton events. The sound of ringing cowbells has become synonymous with fans cheering on U.S. athletes as they get ready to push at the start, as well as welcome them as they slide through the finish.
“Trackside support means so much to our athletes as they represent the United States around the world,” Aron McGuire, CEO of U.S.A. Bobsled-Skeleton, said in the release. “Cowbells have become a staple of the fan experience at our events, creating an atmosphere that energizes our athletes from the start line to the finish.
“Over the years, they have become more than just a way to cheer. They’re a symbol of the passion and support our fans bring to the sport.”
