MANKATO — A man was shot Monday night in the area near Balcerzak Drive and Eastport Apartments.
Mankato police say a call came in at 10:12 p.m. about multiple gunshots being heard and they went to the 1400 block of Eastport Drive where they found the victim who had gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact DPS at 507-387-8780.
