This year, the United Fund is working toward an overall goal of $450,000, and the Fairfield Glade community is a vital part of that effort.
The Fairfield Glade goal of $70,000 reflects the commitment of residents who care deeply about the well-being of the county. Thanks to the efforts of the 30 boots-on-the-ground Door-to-Door volunteers and the Fairfield Glade Rotary Club, which helped with the direct mail campaign to over 400 residents, the United Fund has already reached $68,000 — a goal that reflects the spirit of giving in Fairfield Glade.
“The Cumberland County United Fund would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous donors in Fairfield Glade,” said Holly Neal, United Fund executive director. “Your support has always played an important role in strengthening the services and programs that care for our neighbors throughout Cumberland County.”
The Cumberland County United Fund is not part of a national organization. Every dollar donated stays in Cumberland County, directly supporting local nonprofits that serve the community. Donor’s generosity helps to ensure that local needs are met by local organizations, close to home.
In approaching the end of the year, United Fund invites those who have not yet had the opportunity to donate to consider helping close the gap. Every gift, when combined with others, strengthens the network of services provided by the 40 partner agencies and helps ensure support is available for neighbors of all ages and stages of life.
“Your continued support allows the Cumberland County United Fund to remain a trusted local partner — neighbors helping neighbors, working together for the good of our community,” said Neal.

“Thank you, Fairfield Glade, for your generosity and for helping make Cumberland County a stronger place to call home,” said Neal.
