Allen stared at quarterback last fall, throwing for 945 yards and nine touchdowns and rushing for 875 yards and eight scores. He was named to the All-MVC first team, while Peralta was named to the second team and Deprizio was name to the third team.
Phillips to Rivier
Central Catholic standout Lilly Phillips will continue her basketball career at Rivier University (Nashua, N.H.), the Raiders announced this week. Phillps, a three-year varsity player, was named to the All-MVC team last winter.
Fuller to Williston
Eagle-Tribune All-Star Andover High defensive end/edge Jackson Fuller will become the latest local standout to play a postgraduate season at the Williston Northampton School (Easthampton, Mass.) This past fall, Fuller turned in team-highs with 7.5 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. He had 39 tackles overall. He recently picked up an offer from Georgetown University.
Willison Northampton is, of course, coached by former Eagle-Tribune three-sport Athlete of the Year and Pentucket Regional legend Tommy Beaton.
Melenciano finishes strong
Former Greater Lawrence Eagle-Tribune All-Star Elizardo Melenciano finished his first winter as a member of the Merrimack College track team with a bang.
