Snively to BC
A player with local ties is headed to play football at Boston College — former Sanborn (N.H.) High lineman Owen Snively. It’s been quite a journey for the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Snively since his breakout postgraduate year at Tilton in 2019. He began his college career at Colorado State, starting six games in 2022, before transferring to Eastern Michigan (2023-25), where he started 10 games last fall.
Brown offers Waller-Reitano
Two-time Eagle-Tribune All-Star offensive/defensive lineman Brian Waller-Reitano of Central Catholic recently picked up his first Division 1 college, from Brown University, he announced on “X.” The Bears are coached by Andover’s James Perry.
The 6-foot-3, 293-pound Waller-Reitano is having a stellar wrestling season. He recently picked up his 100th career pin, and is the No. 1-ranked heavyweight in our Eagle-Tribune Kings of the Ring.
Owls to college
A pair of Timberlane standouts made their college choices official this week. Eagle-Tribune All-Star receiver Mikey Santosuosso will play football — not baseball as previously reported — at Saint Anselm College. This fall he caught 45 passes for 468 yards and four touchdowns. His quarterback, Matt Fitzgerald, will play baseball at Saint Josephs College in Maine. He threw for 985 yards and six TDs this past fall after hitting .353 with 21 runs and 15 RBIs last spring.
