A strong finish allowed the Unatego girls basketball team to secure a 42-37 home win over Delhi Thursday in a pivotal Midstate Athletic Conference matchup.
Trailing by one entering the fourth quarter after losing an early advantage, Unatego rallied to outscore the Bulldogs 11-5 in the final eight minutes.
Lizzie Craft’s excellent performance led the way for the Spartans, as she recorded a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds.
Harly Birdsall added seven points while Bailey McCoy finished with eight assists and eight steals to go with her two points.
Natalie Vredenburgh was Delhi’s top scorer with 12 points while Tyler Abts finished with nine.
Unatego will host Sidney next Wednesday while Delhi will host Walton/Downsville this Saturday.
South Kortright 65, Windham-Ashland-Jewett/Gilboa 21
South Kortright cruised to a 65-21 win over Windham-Ashland-Jewett/Gilboa at home Thursday.
Addy Eckert had a game-high 34 points to lead the way while Carlee Dropp added 16 points and Lauren Dengler tallied 10 points in the win.
Ashtyn Hansen had 16 points to lead WAJ/G.
South Kortright will host Margaretville next Monday.
Bainbridge-Guilford 58, Harpursville 12
Ten different players scored for Bainbridge-Guilford in the Bobcats’ 58-12 win over Harpursville Saturday.
Jayslin Henderson led the way with 15 points while Marissa Mayo had eight points and 10 rebounds, Peyton Umbra scored eight points and Danica Park had seven points and 10 rebounds.
B-G will visit Greene Friday.

Abby Yahner led the way with a game-high 22 points while Josie Dutcher added 10 points in the win.
