THOMASVILLE- As many stores in downtown Thomasville gear up for the Christmas season, Tvelo Brewing Company is getting ready for their first Christmas as a part of downtown Thomasville’s famous scene.
Since its grand opening on January 21, 2023, Tvelo has offered a unique experience to customers all over Thomasville and the Thomas County area.
“We’re just happy to be the only brewery here in Thomaville and serve the Thomasville community and the surrounding area,” said Maurice Jackson, one of the owners of Tvelo.
When people think of variety in their drinks, they often go to cocktails. Fancy dipped rims and an assortment of juices all mixed together for a sweet tasting drink. But rarely do folks think of variety in beer. But, Tvelo is changing that and just in time for the Christmas season.
“We have a lot of fun with our different stouts here,” said Jackson. “So, we have different flavors that you can mix in. Toasted marshmallow, caramel, peppermint, salted caramel, coconut.”
Tvelo is all abut variety and they have a lot of it. They use a “secret family recipe” to add the flavor to their stouts. Some people may be put off when they here about a Christmas flavored beer, but Jackson said, “Once they taste it… It’s a different story”.
From lime in your stout to a coffee blonde, made with Lucky Goat coffee and mixed with Tvelo’s own beach cruiser, Tvelo has Christmas flavors for everyones unique taste.
Jackson’s favorite Christmas flavor is caramel, though the customers may disagree.
“I do know that toasted marshmallow is a big hit,” Jackson said. “That childhood nostalgia of making s’mores or anything like that. We have a great staff here that and the right combination can almost emulate different candy bars. You can definitely have a lot of fun with beer.”
With a gorgeous patio over looking the Thomasville amphitheater, the big game always on, and live music, you can’t ask for a better experience around the holidays.
