Tennessee Valley Theatre will present Dawnia Powers’ “Toast to Time” over the next couple of weeks.
Performances at 184 W. Jackson Ave., Spring City, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5-6 and Dec. 12-13; and at 2 p.m. Dec. 17 and 14.
Happily ever after doesn’t always take a straight path. “Toast to Time,” directed by Powers, follows Danny, a Southern girl who leaves Tennessee in search of a big sky and a place to feel at home. Life shows her that the power of love isn’t always blood relations and family is often what one creates. The road to her hearts desire is filled with lies, deception, and bad timing. Danny finds that life is a circle path and that home can be found wherever she roams. Powers is a Spring City author and resident.
