MANKATO — Two Mankato residents and one from Granada were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Monday at the intersection of Highways 169 and 68 just southwest of Mankato.
A 2015 Ram 1500 driven by Juhlianna Rose Marquette, 18, of Mankato and a 2018 Toyota Tundra driven by James Paul Miedtke, 66, of Granada collided just after noon at the junction of the two highways, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The crash injured both drivers and a passenger in the Ram 1500 — Cody Aaron Brown, 31, of Mankato.
The Toyota was southbound on Highway 169 and the Ram 1500 was southbound on Highway 68 turning to go north on Highway 169 when the vehicles collided. All three people were wearing seat belts, and all of the injuries were non-life-threatening with only Brown needing to be taken to the Mankato hospital, according to the Patrol report.
