TIFTON — Thirstology, an IV hydration clinic, aims to provide an even greater degree of services, now that its settled into a new location.
The clinic celebrated its grand reopening recently at a new location through a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in conjunction with the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce, eager to recommence providing Tifton with IV therapy, weight loss programs and other medical services.
Inspired by her own experiences with IV therapy, Robin Stanley, co-owner and registered nurse, alongside fellow registered nurse Gerlana Vargas, said the clinic provides the same services to the yet untapped market of Tifton.
“When you’re in such a small town, you really don’t have access to a lot of the things you have in bigger cities,” Stanley said. “It’s nice to have access to this and with us being an after-hours clinic, too, we’re pretty much available any time.”
The pair got their start as a mobile service in November 2021 but moved into a physical location out of Southern Bodies Fitness Center only a few months later. A year and a half after that, they were ready to strike out on their own with an independent location, moving to where they currently do business around the start of August.
The new location has given them the inspiration to expand their range of services; Stanley said she hopes moving ahead, the clinic will be able to branch into more self-care and urgent care services.
