NEWBURY — The Plum Island Taxpayers & Associates (PITA) and Friends of Plum Island Light are collaborating to provide a free special event on Wednesday, Sept.18, at 7 p.m. at PITA Hall.
The Portermen will sing sea shanties and include a special lighthouse shanty. Light refreshments will be served.
PITA Hall is located at 8 Plum Island Blvd., Newbury. The musical presentation will follow a brief annual member’s meeting and election of board for Friends of Plum Island Light at 6:30 p.m.
