The Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library has programs for all ages every month, sometimes we throw in a special event. On Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. we will hold a new holiday event, the Nutcracker Suite.
This event is for the entire family. “The Nutcracker” by E.T.A. Hoffmann will be read at various times during the two-hour period. We will have readings in both English and Spanish. There will be refreshments and crafts for everyone. Plus, Santa will be there for pictures.
If you have tweens and teens that drag their feet about coming to the library let them know that we have something special just for them at the same time. Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. we will have a TnT Treats: Gingerbread House Competition. Tweens and teens (6th-12th grade) are invited to join the fun and showcase their decorating skills in this gingerbread house competition. Prizes for the most imaginative designs will be given. All supplies provided.
