The Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council 2874 presented three $1,000 Burford-Weber Scholarships to the following students:
• Anna Probst, daughter of Doug and Megan Probst, plans to attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to major in biology and then attend medical school. Anna’s activities and hobbies include State Scholar, Student Council, National Honor Society, Science Club, Basketball, Tennis, Academic Challenge Team, Volunteens, InTouch, Varsity Club, Spanish Club, Catholic Heart, Reading, spending time with family and friends, church, baking, crafting and exercising.
• Cecilia Apke, daughter of Larry and Pam Apke, plans to attend Purdue University to major in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. C.J.’s activities and hobbies include CEO, FFA, National Honor Society, Trap Shooting, Science Club, Varsity Club, Softball, State Scholar, 4-H, St. Isidore Youth Ministry, showing pigs, hanging out with friends, trying something new and anything outside.
• Natalie Willenborg, daughter of Eric and Emily Willenborg, plans to attend Eastern Illinois University to study Elementary Education. Natalie’s activities and hobbies include Writing Club, Art Club, Track and Field, National Honor Society, Drama Club, Catholic Heart, running, art, baking, spending time with friends, and writing/journaling.
