TCMS band students earn first chair positions

THOMASVILLE- Eight students from Thomas County Middle School made the 2023-24 GMEA District 2 Middle School Honor Band. Of the 14 middle schools participating this year, TCMS had the highest number of chairs in the district, earning 29 of the 87 chairs available, exactly 1/3 of the middle school honor band.
TCMS also claimed 8 of the 14 first-chair positions. The District Honor Band Clinic will take place February 9-10 at ABAC in Tifton, Ga.
