THOMASVILLE- Twenty-three Thomas County Central High School Bands program students earned seats on the 2024 South Georgia Region Honor Bands. Three of these youth musicians obtained seats for multiple instruments. Students auditioned via video submissions; winners were announced Feb. 9. TCCHS had more students chosen than any other program in its region, which includes most of South Georgia. The 2024 South Region Honor Band event is April 11-13 at the Valdosta State University campus. Participants will include students from Georgia Music Educators Association districts 2, 8 and 11.
