The Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain Golf Course will host an innovative environmental education outreach program that uses golf courses as environmental learning labs, when course superintendents Scott Overly and Chad Garrett welcome students from Stone Memorial High School for a GCSAA First Green event April 11.
First Green is a Golf Course Superintendents Association of America program which focuses on STEAM principles where students get hands-on learning opportunities in a real-life setting.
The event will run from 10:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
