Golfers took part in the 53rd Annual Hole-in-One Contest to benefit The Eagle-Tribune Santa Fund at Garrison’s Golf Center in Haverhill Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 4 to 6.
Participants in the hole-in-one contest pay $10 for a bucket of balls and drive them toward a hole 120 yards away. Those with holes-in-one or shots closest to the hole receive prizes.
There is also a putting contest in which participants try to sink a shot from 20 feet. If it goes in, they move to greater distances, and the contest continues until one golfer remains.
