The state is seeking information from people whose homes or businesses were damaged by the recent storms earlier this month to help determine if Massachusetts is eligible for federal disaster assistance.
The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency is asking residents and business owners to fill out an online damage assessment survey for the storms on Jan. 10 and 13. The deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 23.
The agency said the survey will be used to determine whether the state may be eligible to request federal disaster assistance under the Individual Assistance or Small Business Administration programs, and whether there is a basis for engaging in the second step of the eligibility process.

In Beverly, Lynch Park, Dane Street Beach, Brackenbury Beach and Water Street were among the areas impacted. In Marblehead, there was flooding on Front Street, Ocean Avenue, Norman Street, and the causeway. Swampscott saw flood conditions at several beaches, including Preston Beach, Phillips Beach and Kings Beach.
