Nolan Stark pitched a five-inning perfect game and also had two home runs as host Oneonta, the No. 1 seed, beat No. 8 Spencer-Van Etten/Candor, 23-0, in a Section IV Class B quarterfinal game Friday, May 22, at Joe Hughes Field.
Stark went 4-for-5 with five runs scored and four RBI. He had a solo home run to center field in the second inning and a two-run, inside-the-park homer to the center field gap in the fourth. He struck out nine of the 15 batters he faced. Only two outs left the infield.
Grayson Brockington also had a home run, a two-run shot to left field in the first inning. Brockington went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBI.
Andrew Brechner went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and five RBI, including a three-run double off the top of the outfield fence in center field.
Chase Jervis had two hits, an RBI and scored three runs for the Yellowjackets, which also got three runs scored and two RBI from Britten Zeh.
Oneonta (16-5) will host Lansing in the semifinals on Wednesday, May 26. Lansing, the fourth seed, beat No. 5 Thomas Edison on Friday, 10-1.

David Cammer had 15 strike outs in a three-hitter as No. 3 seeded G-C/R won a Section IV Class D playoff quarterfinal game against E/M on Friday in Roxbury.
Trailing 1-0, E/M had the bases loaded with one out in the top of the fifth, but Cammer struck out Lorenzo Reisen and Gavin Zinger to keep the shutout.
The RocketCats then scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to give Cammer a cushion.
Preston Bruck had a two-run triple for G-C/R, which also got two hits from Erik Pettersen.
Collin Lund doubled for E/M.
Reisen took the loss, giving up seven hits in six innings while striking out seven.
Edmeston/Morris ends its season 4-9.
Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury (9-3) will play a semifinal game at South Kortright/Margaretville on Wednesday in South Kortright. SK/M beat G-C/R in two out of three games the four schools played this season, including a 6-2 win in the Delaware League final in Oneonta on May 15.
