Oneonta’s Nolan Stark made the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League’s All-League team, according to a media release Thursday, Aug. 6.
Stark made the Second Team, as a designated hitter and utility player for the Outlaws, which he joined after the high school season ended in June.
The 2024 and 2026 Daily Star Player of the Year in high school baseball, Stark hit .372 while playing in 21 games and getting 78 at bats for the Outlaws. He won the team’s Player of the Game Award twice. He had 29 hits and 25 RBI, including four home runs.
The Oneonta Yellowjackets won a Section IV Class B title before losing in the state quarterfinals.
The Oneonta Outlaws went 16-21-1 and lost in the first round of the PGCBL Eastern Division playoffs to Amsterdam.
Stark will leave for University of North Carolina, Wilmington this month. Stark said he will likely play in the field for the Seahawks.
Catcher Vincent Duffy was named as honorable mention for the Outlaws. Duffy hit .333 in 31 games with the Outlaws, with 19 RBI and 27 runs scored.
Duffy, who is from Nanuet, started in 19 games as a freshman at Seton Hall last spring.
