ST. PETER — A St. Peter man has been charged on nine counts of distributing pornographic content of minors under the age of 14.
Casey Lee Wipperling, 43, is in custody after St. Peter Police Department received initial tips about the distribution of online child sexual abuse materials in September 2024.
Wipperling is to appear in Nicollet County District Court and admitted he had been sent nude images of underage girls on messaging app KIK. He told authorities there would likely be “quite a few” images of underage girls on his phone, according to the criminal complaint.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension report found the phone contained 628 total files categorized as illegal child abuse material and 415 total files categorized as child exploitive/age difficult files.
Wipperling told police some of the images were from the internet and others from users on KIK.
