NICOLLET COUNTY — A St. Peter driver has died in a crash where the driver of the other car involved did not stop at a stop sign, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Margo Ann Brown, 77 of St. Peter, died in the incident, which occurred at 1:19 p.m. Friday near Highway 22 and Nicollet County Road 3 in New Sweden Township. Brown was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center.
Brown was driving a 2025 Honda Pilot eastbound on Highway 22 while Valeria Marylou Thompson, 74 of Nicollet, was driving a 2013 Cadillac Escalade southbound on County Road 3.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection; the Cadillac did not stop at the stop sign.
