Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, recently or in the past, are encouraged to join others who have lost someone in the upcoming GriefShare session at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Fairfield Glade.
The GriefShare grief recovery program offers help and encouragement to those who have suffered a loss, allowing them to explore and share their experience in a group setting.
The different phases of grief are presented by experts via video, and group discussions offer support and help to facilitate healing.
St. Francis of Assisi Parish will begin another 13-week session of GriefShare from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, in Sheehan Hall.
Anyone struggling with grief related to a loss in their life is invited and encouraged to attend these sessions.
