PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh and AuSable Valley competed and walked away with a split, Wednesday.
The Plattsburgh boys took home the 3-1 victory while the Patriot girls completed the 4-0 sweep.
On the boys side, Ethan Parent led the Hornets with a 584 series with games of 171-166-247. Evan Rundall had a total pinfall of 566 to aid in the effort.
Max Benware continued his strong season of bowling with a 634 pinfall after games of 183-204-247 to lead the Patriots. Ethan Taylor and Logan Collins finished the day with series of 508 and 506, respectively.
AuSable Valley had strong bowling sessions from numerous members of the girls bowling squad.
They were led by Abby Perky who finished with a 485 series with games of 172-143-170. Eleanore Quinn finished with a final pinfall of 463.
Plattsburgh was led by the steady hand of Scottlyn McCormick, who bowled 118-154-196-368 to lead her team.

MINEVILLE — It was a day filled with excitement and a personal best in the bowling match between the Eagles and Vikings.
Beekmantown walked away with a 4-0 sweep in the boys, while the teams split the girls matchup.
While in the losing effort, Moriah’s Cayden Muller bowled his highest game ever at 237. He finished with a total pinfall of 570.
The Vikings also saw high games from Damyn Dowe (223) and Christopher Demarais (194).
Caleb Deso and Josh Calkins teamed up to lead the Beekmantown sweep. Deso finished with games of 151-181-188 for a total pinfall of 520. Calkins finished 170-181-162-513.
The girls’ match was packed with intensity as it ended in a 2-2 split.
The Eagles were led by Tori Bump who finished with a 505 pinfall. Olivia Corrow added a 502 series.
Avrial Fuller and Harley Taylor led the Vikings with a series of 475 and 440, respectively.

WILLSBORO — The Nighthawks had an impressive day at the lanes.
The entire boys team bowled a 600 to sweep the Warriors, 4-0. Willsboro would return the favor in the girls game with a 4-0 sweep themselves.
Nick Palmer led the 600 barrage with a 683 pinfall. Kegan Hemmingway followed suit with a 620 series as Logan Hemingway added a 616.
Kayden Smith and Kalib Smith contributed pinfalls of 608 and 607, respectively.
Ashton Hathaway of Willsboro bowled a 191-181-192-492 series to lead his team.
The Warrior girls were led by Emily Mitchell who had a pinfall of 481 after games of 151-160-170. Autumn Phinney added a 418 series.
Madison Provost continues her strong bowling season leading the Nighthawks with a 592 series with games of 170-198-224.
