The Rams (9-3, 4-0 Western Maryland Athletic Conference) led 41-13 at halftime and 47-27 after three.
Jayden Weaver led Southern with 17 points with five 3-pointers while Emelee Parks scored 15 points with 12 in the first quarter.
Abby Nelson led both teams with 22 points for the Huskies (5-5, 0-4 WestMAC), scoring 14 after halftime.
The Rams won the junior varsity game 37-27 led by Brianna Berard’s 16 points and Halee Bruckey’s 14.
Ava Wilhelm scored a game-high 17 points for the Huskies.
Northern heads to Meyersdale on Thursday before hosting Clear Spring on Friday at 7 p.m.
Southern heads to Tucker County next Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.
No. 2 Keyser 66, Mountain Ridge 54
FROSTBURG — After two close quarters, Keyser outscored Mountain Ridge 18-9 in the third quarter to pull away and win on Tuesday in the Coal Mine.
The Miners (5-5) led 13-9 after one before the Golden Tornado (9-1) took a 33-32 halftime lead.
Bibs Felton scored nine of Keyser’s 18 points in the third quarter and finished with a game-high 28 points.
Felton scored 22 points in the second half.
Rooney Urice scored 14 points with nine in the second quarter while Austyn Healy added 11 points.
Taylor Lamberson led the Miners with 22 points, scoring 16 in the first half.
Kealana Pua’auli scored eight of her 10 points after halftime.
Keyser hosts Morgantown on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The Mohigans (7-2) finished 20-4 and were runner-up in West Virginia Class 4A last season.
Moorefield 62, Berkeley Springs 42
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Leading 13-11 after one, Moorefield outscored Berkeley Springs in the second quarter 21-10 to take control and win on Tuesday.
Kerigan Bergdall scored seven of her 25 points in the second quarter for the Yellow Jackets (3-6) and had 15 in the first half.
Elizabeth Williams scored 10 points for Moorefield.
Katie Risinger scored 25 points to lead Berkeley Springs (7-4).
The Jackets led 34-11 at halftime and 48-28 after three.
Moorefield heads to No. 3 Hampshire (8-3) on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Bishop Walsh 59, Faith 19
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Bishop Walsh shut out Faith in the third quarter while scoring 19 points, leading to a rout on Tuesday.
The Spartans (7-4) led 15-3 after one, 21-13 at halftime and 40-13 after three.
Lanie Odom scored a game-high 18 points for Bishop Walsh, adding eight rebounds, two assists, a block and three steals.
Anzleigh Simmons recorded a double-double of 15 points with 10 rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
Aerianna Jackson finished with 11 assists, 10 steals, nine points and three rebounds.
Cayenne Ostrander scored eight points with seven boards, three steals, two assists and a block.
No one scored more than five points for Faith.
