OAKLAND — No. 1 Southern scored at least 20 points in the first three quarters, cruising to a 77-55 win over Clarke County Tuesday.
The Rams (4-2) led 24-12, 46-22 and 66-37 after three quarters.
Jayden Weaver scored all 13 of her points in the first quarter with three 3-pointers.
Joycelyn Ward added seven of her 18 points in the opening eight minutes.
Emelee Parks led both teams with 20 points while Gabbi Berry scored 10.
Alainah McKavish led Clarke County with 22 points.
Southern heads to Garrett College for the Deep Creek Classic beginning on Monday.
The Rams face South County Monday at 8 p.m. and Mars Tuesday at 6 p.m.
