The Fairfield Glade Women’s Nine Hole League is hosting the annual “Drive Out Breast Cancer” golf event June 30 to support patient assistance at the Breast Center at the Cumberland Medical Center.
The event will be a four-person scramble played at the Heatherhurst Crag Course front nine with a shotgun starting promptly at 7:30 a.m.
The event is open to league members as well as non-members. Those signing up as individuals will complete teams needing players. A maximum of 72 spots are available.
The entry fee is $30, which covers lunch and a donation to the Breast Center. Individuals pay their own green fees for the day of play.
There will be prizes for a Hole-in-One Contest, Closest to the Line and Closest to the Pin in addition to the Scramble (first, second and third places). No handicaps will be used and no GHIN will be needed.
Raffle tickets, mulligans and memory flags (personalized on the spot) will be available for purchase.
