Shriners thankful for onion sale support

Noble Dean Roberson, left, from the Cumberland/Roane County Shrine Club expresses his appreciation to Mark Sandberg, Fairfield Glade Food City store manager, for the store’s support during the organization’s annual Vidalia onion sales to benefit Shrine Club charities. Members of the Crossville-based Shrine Club sold 1,200 10-pound bags of onions during the sale. They had onion sales booths outside Food City stores in Crossville and Fairfield Glade.
