The Cumberland County Republican Women’s Club will have a one-time change in their regular meeting date to Thursday, March 12.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at Tennessee College of Applied Technology Upper Cumberland on Miller Avenue in Crossville.
The featured guest speaker at this monthly meeting will be Cameron Sexton, current Speaker of the Tennessee House of Representatives
“We are always honored that Speaker Sexton is so willing to give us his time and to share with our membership, the current activities of the Tennessee legislature,” said Vicky Arida, club president.
Sexton represents District 25, which includes portions of Cumberland and Putnam counties. His talk will include current issues impacting the Tennessee legislature.
A resident of Fairfield Glade, Sexton was elected to the House in 2011.
“Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome all who are interested in hearing what Speaker Sexton has to share with our members,” Arida added.
“Come join us and bring a friend.”
