DANVILLE — The first cannabis dispensary drive-thru in the state of Illinois has opened in Danville.
Brad Zerman, owner of Seven Point Cannabis Dispensary in Danville, says the drive-thru is running smoothly.
“I used it this morning,” said a customer in the drive-thru on Tuesday who preferred not to be named. “It was so convenient. I came back this afternoon.”
The drive-thru opened on Thursday, July 23.
Zerman says more is coming to the Seven Point drive-thru, like bagels from Einstein’s Bagels in Champaign.
“And they have these rolls that you don’t even know about that we’re gonna have,” Zerman said. “They made them for us to try out. We had two dozen. They’re like these square rolls they use for catering.
Zerman added, “And they baked them for us because they said we could make sandwiches on them. So once the food truck opens, then we can make the sandwiches.”
The dispensary already has an open smoke lounge where patrons can consume cannabis on-site.
“We have yoga with [an] instructor every week at 11 a.m.,” Zerman said about the events in the lounge area. “And we have a movie on Sunday at one that is not well attended, but people are doing yoga.”
The lounge opened on Feb. 26.
If you would like to place an order for pickup at the drive-thru, do so online or at one of the kiosks in the lounge area. Seven Point Cannabis Dispensary is located at 380 Eastgate Drive in Danville.
