I am pleased to announce the third presentation in a series of presentations by Dr. Pete Watson, “Hacks to Improve Your Sleep, Mental Wellness and Cognitive Function,” at 10 a.m. March 20 at The Dale Association, 33 Ontario St., Lockport.
If you have attended any of Dr. Pete’s previous presentations, you know this is one you will not want to miss. It is not necessary to have attended previous presentations; this is a stand-alone presentation. The public is invited and the presentation is free.
Sleep may be the single most important and underappreciated contributor to a healthy life and healthy aging. Sleep is more than rest, it is the time when the body restores brain health and organizes and consolidates memories.
In this presentation, Dr. Pete will discuss why sleep is important for brain and body function, ways to improve the quality of your sleep, and other means to sustain or improve the function of your brain.
Please call 716-433-1886 to reserve your seat. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Prior to his retirement, Dr. Pete was a professor of medicine and a researcher who focused on endocrinology. In retirement he is focusing on healthy aging.
Dr. Pete said he’s “excited to be working with The Dale Association … to offer personalized one-on-one health and wellness coaching sessions designed for adults of all ages. I encourage everyone to start taking steps now towards a healthier future.”
