The second graders at iAcademy recently cast their ballots on a very important topic: the best cookie.
As a part of the students’ Liberty Learning unit, they were able to walk through the entire voting process, from finding their polling location, waiting in line, casting their ballot, receiving stickers and waiting for the polls to close for the results.
The decision was between chocolate chip and sugar cookies, and one Facebook commenter was interested in finding out the results, asking “Who won?”
With the official results in, the best cookie in the second grade, iAcademy district is the chocolate chip cookie.
To continue the educational process, the young voters will next graph the results using the data received from the vote.
