The Schenevus baseball team continued its great start to the season on Thursday by picking up a key Tri-Valley League win at home, defeating Laurens/Milford 14-4.
Tim Green went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBI, three runs scored and two steals for the Dragons while Owen Green was 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and two runs.
Tim Green, Jackson Reed and Cody Keator combined to allow just two hits in five innings on the mound.
For Laurens/Milford, William Rhode drove in two runs and Nick DeBoer also had an RBI.
Schenevus (6-0) will visit Middleburgh on Friday while L/M (3-1) will host Windham-Ashland-Jewett on Monday.
Oneonta 15, Windsor 7
Oneonta rebounded from an early deficit to earn a 15-7 road win against Windsor on Thursday.
After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning, the Yellowjackets plated seven runs in the top of the second en route to 14 unanswered runs.
Grayson Brockington and Brady Carr each had four hits in the win while Chse Jervis and Tanner Tubia both had a single, a double and two RBI.
Nolan Stark earned the win on the mound, striking out five batters in five innings while Maddox Imperato had two punchouts in two innings of relief.
Oneonta (4-1) will complete its three-game series against Windsor at home on Friday morning.

Richfield Springs withstood a late rally by Cherry Valley-Springfield/Sharon Springs on Thursday to win 5-3 in Tri-Valley League play.
Sophia Spencer struck out 10 batters as the winning pitcher while also notching a double and two RBI at the plate. Arianna Beaver and Dakota Butler each drove in a run as well for the Eagles.
Bailey Thayer finished with seven strikeouts for CV-S/SS, Emily Fox went 2-for-3 at the plate and River Beauregard had a two-run double.
Richfield Springs (4-0) will be at Worcester on Monday while CV-S/SS (3-3) will host Margaretville on Tuesday.

Victoria Green had three doubles and four RBI, Ivy Tice went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and Amanda Ray was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Aubrey Smith was the winning pitcher with 12 strikeouts, three hits and two walks.
Elizabeth Ives went 2-for-2 for Harpursville and Gabby Priester added a double.

The Hartwick women’s tennis team swept cross-street rival SUNY Oneonta 7-0 on Thursday.
Winning in singles play for the Hawks were Alexandra Krasinska, Phoebe Olson, Samantha Lantzy, Lily Vanuga, Ryann Ashby and Gianna Leggieri.
Earning doubles victories were the pairings of Krasinska and Olson, Ashby and Leggieri and Lantzy and Vanuga.
Hartwick will be competing in the NCAA Championships on Friday, May 9.

SUNY Delhi dropped both games of a doubleheader against SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday, falling by scores of 4-0 and 11-1.
Sidney Cooper went 2-for-3 with a double in the opener while Danielle Seymour struck out three batters in five innings while allowing two earned runs.
Hannah Caughey had two hits in the second game and Carolina Watson drove in the lone run.
The Broncos (6-10 overall, 0-2 NAC) will host Cobleskill for another doubleheader on Friday.
