The Schenevus baseball team won its first Tri-Valley League title since 2002 with a 3-2 walk-off victory against Edmeston/Morris at Sidney on Monday.
Allen Osborne scored the winning run for the Dragons after drawing a walk, making his way to third base and coming home on an E/M throwing error.
Edmeston/Morris took an early 2-0 lead but Schenevus was able to tie things up late entering the seventh inning.
Schenevus (17-2) and E/M (5-4) now wait to see who they will face to begin the Section IV playoffs later this week.
Oneonta 9, Unatego/Franklin 1 Horseheads 10, Oneonta 2 (Saturday)
Oneonta finished its regular season on Monday with a 9-1 home win over Unatego/Franklin in non-league action.
Bruce Mistler struck out six batters in five innings to pick up the win for the Yellowjackets. Chase Jervis and Nolan Stark each had two hits at the plate with Jervis notching a triple and Jameson Brown drove in three runs.
Xander Johnson had a double for U/F and Gavin Nordberg and Logan Kingsbury had two hits each.
Oneonta was in Binghamton on Saturday for the STAC Semifinals where it lost to Horseheads 10-2.
Nolan Stark had a triple and a double for OHS while also pitching five innings on the mound.
Oneonta (16-3) and U/F (12-4) both await their first-round opponents for the Section IV playoffs.
Cooperstown 12, Herkimer 5
Cooperstown took down Herkimer 12-5 on the road Monday.
Wyatt Butts led the Hawkeyes’ offense with four hits including a double. Jonathan Torres went 2-for-4 with three RBI, Joey Paterno had two hits and two RBI and Adam Ubner drove in a pair of runs
Elijah McCaffrey, Paterno and Brody Murdock combined for eight strikeouts on the mound.
Cooperstown (4-5) will host New York Mills on Wednesday.
Unatego/Franklin 8, Brockport 5 (Saturday)
Unatego/Franklin defeated Brockport 8-5 at home in Saturday’s non-league contest.
Xander Johnson struck out 11 batters and walked none as the winning pitcher while also going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI at the plate.
Joe Sargent went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Levi Russell also drove in two runs and Jake and Logan Kingsbury each had two hits.

An 11-run fifth inning helped Laurens/Milford to defeat Cherry Valley-Springfield/Sharon Springs 15-0 in the Tri-Valley League Championship in Sidney on Monday.
Bella Garlick led the Cats’ offense with four hits and an RBI, Emma Gannon had a double and three RBI and Brooke Mann struck out five batters while allowing just three hits and three walks in six innings.
Bailey Thayer recorded a triple in the loss for CV-S/SS.
L/M improves to 8-5 and CV-S/SS drops to 9-7 entering the sectional playoffs.
Herkimer 5, Cooperstown 4 (Saturday)
Cooperstown fell on the road to Herkimer 5-4 on Saturday.
Katie Crippen went 3-for-4 at the plate in the loss while Grace Sperry and Bella Reich had an RBI apiece. Emmy Lippitt finished with eight strikeouts and one loss in the circle while also notching a double on offense.
Cooperstown (9-2) will host Poland on Tuesday.

GOLF
The Cooperstown golf team was at Barker Brook Golf Course last weekend for the Section III Small School Tournament.
The Hawkeyes placed second overall as a team with a score of 438, trailing only Hamilton (430).
Brayden Sentz shot a round of 83 to earn a spot in the state qualifiers at Seven Oaks Golf Club on Wednesday.
TENNIS
The Cooperstown tennis team was in Watertown on Monday for the Section III individual tournament.
Henry Ayers split his two matches in first singles, earning a spot in the state qualifiers at Hamilton College next Monday.
Falling in their respective matches were Alfred Hom in singles and Micah Raffo and Hayden Spencer, and Alexis Wolfe and Bianca Adam in doubles.
Cooperstown will host Poland on Tuesday in a make-up doubleheader.
