NORTH MANKATO — South Central College plans to hold informational events in the coming weeks to provide more information about Minnesota’s North Star Promise Scholarship and other college-financing options.
Beginning in the fall of this year, the North Star Promise Scholarship Program will create a tuition and fee-free pathway to higher education for eligible Minnesota residents at state intuitions such as SCC, according to a news release.
The sessions will be 5-7 p.m. at the college’s North Mankato campus, 1920 Lee Boulevard, on Wednesdays, March 13 and April 10.
Details on the new North Star Promise Scholarship program will be provided at 5 p.m. followed by information on other ways to save on college. Participants can also stay to get help with their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known FAFSA.
