Janie Papell drilled six goals and Isa Robinson added three in the non-league victory. Avery Brown, Sophia Fina and Lauren Willoe all scored single goals. Meghan Daley and Papell combined to win 15 draws to key the attack, while Sam Melville stood strong, making eight saves.
Tabor 15, Brooks 13
Lydia Tangney found the net five times, but Brooks fell to 3-6 with the tough loss. Tilly Crosby and Sloan Hayden each scored three goals, while Zoe Milmoe and Mary Adams had the others.
Phillips 15, Choate 6
Neicia Smith scored three goals, while Shea Freda, Carly Hopkins, Lauren Herlihy and Charley Drouin had two apiece for the Big Blue in the win.
Pinkerton 19, Hanover 8
Hannah Lisauskas passed out four assists, making it 100 for her amazing career, to pace the Astros. She also pitched in a pair of goals. Hailey Schnider scored five goals, Delaney Summers had four, and Bella Pinardi added three for the winners.

Sizzling Pat McGowan has 19 points in the last two games, including eight goals in Sunday’s big win for the Hillies. Will Janes was dynamite doing the dirty work, winning ground balls and picking up bigtime clears.

The Big Blue salvaged the split behind five innings of four-hit ball from North Andover’s Robert Brown, who earned the win in the nightcap. He fanned eight. Luke Gallo singled and doubled to drive in three for Phillips to power the attack in Game 2.
Leominster 6, Central Catholic 3
Josh Florence and Jake Bartlett had two hits apiece, and Connor McNamara had the fifth hit for the Raiders, but that was all the offense they could muster.
College Track
Northern Essex track and field turned in some strong performances at ECSU. On the men’s side, Othmane Elhayani ran a season best in the 200, finishing in seventh place in a time of 23.69. With this time, he has qualified for the NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Nationals. Elhayani placed 11th in the 100 with a season best 11.65. Samual Reinoso ran a season best in the 800 with a time of 2:09.38, finishing 15th. Lemuel Del Valle ran his first 5k on the track, finishing in 17th place. On the women’s side, Laylani Crespo ran another PR, finishing in 8th.
