SARANAC LAKE β Saranac Lake ArtWorks members will be selling handcrafted creations Downtown, Saranac Lake Thursday, July 3, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Berkeley Green.
Organizers said visitors can purchase unique, one-of-a-kind pieces β from handmade jewelry, paintings, glasswork, books, wood and more.
“Wander through, take time to explore the local shops, galleries, and restaurants that make Saranac Lake so special,” organizers stated in a press release.
“Itβs an afternoon of art, creativity, and community not to be missed. The backup location in case of inclement weather is Hotel Saranac,” the release stated.
Saranac Lake ArtWorks is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has been promoting the arts in the region since 2008.
“By connecting artists with audiences through promotional activities, sponsorship of highly visible public events, and the creation of new opportunities for growth, ArtWorks strives to make Saranac Lake the art destination of the Adirondacks,” the release stated.
Additional upcoming ArtWorks events include the Third Thursday ArtWalks (June-September), Adirondack Plein Air Festival (Aug 18-23), and Studio Tours (Sept 27 and 28).
