The Joe Yukica/New Hampshire Chapter of the National Football Foundation announced the 10 semifinalists for the 2025 Yukica Player of the Year Award.
A pair of area standouts are among the nominees.
Salem’s Jordan Zannini and Windham’s Rob Durkin now have a shot at earning the prestigious honor. The committee will named its three finalists on Nov. 20 with the winner being named on Nov. 27.
Zannini, a senior running back headed to Bridgton Academy next year, leads Salem into the Division I playoffs this weekend with 11 touchdowns and 537 rushing yards.
Durkin, a senior linebacker for the Jags, who will also be in playoff action this weekend, helped lead a Windham defense that has allowed just 62 points in eight New Hampshire games (7.8 per game).

Matt Fitzgerald scored both Timberlane touchdowns on runs of 1 and 6 yards.
Whittier Tech 30, Somerville 12
Jay Vazquez ran for 102 yards and three TD as the Wildcats moved to 7-2 with the non-playoff win.
Noah Allen added a TD and a two-point rush in the win.
Arlington 60, Haverhill 38
The Hillies fall to 3-6 with the non-playoff loss to the Spy Ponders.
