NASHUA, N.H. — Salem led by two touchdowns midway through the first quarter, and by one score at halftime, but undefeated Bishop Guertin delivered a dominant second half to defeat the Blue Devils 42-28 on Saturday night.
Salem’s Colin Salkovitz broke touchdown runs of 64 and 52 yards in the first half, and finished the game with nine carries for 189 yard. QB Van Morrison and Jacob Beaudry each added a touchdown run as the Blue Devils led 28-21 at halftime.
But Bishop Guertin responded with 21 unanswered points in the second half to take home the win and improve to 4-0 for the season. The Blue Devils fell to 2-2.
