Roane State Community College will host a veterans open house Tuesday, March 25, at its Cumberland County Campus.
The event, in partnership with Tennessee College of Applied Technology Upper Cumberland, is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. and will feature a variety of resources for community veterans.
Representatives from multiple agencies have been confirmed to attend, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Boots to Business, the VA Mobile Clinic, Silver Angels of Tennessee, and the American Job Center.
“Our mission is to make the college experience easy and enjoyable, while aligning that experience with the plans our veteran students have for their future,” said Lynzee Patrick, director of Veterans Services at Roane State. “Outreach events like the upcoming open house allow us to connect veteran students with one another for support and increase awareness of the resources and benefits that are available to them.”
The Cumberland County Campus is at 2567 Cook Road, Crossville. The campus front desk can be reached by calling 931-456-9880.
