NEWBURYPORT — River Run Bancorp, MHC, recently announced the appointment of Rob Glosner as executive vice president and chief information officer. In this capacity, Glosner assumes overall ownership of technology within the organization.
His responsibilities include keeping abreast of emerging technologies, spearheading their selection and integration, formulating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards, devising strategies aligned with companywide objectives, with a particular emphasis on data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and process enhancement. Furthermore, Glosner leads the development and execution of the information security program, as well as managing technology personnel and budgets.
With over three decades of experience in the financial services sector, Glosner brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as senior vice president and chief information officer at Pentucket Bank.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer technology from Purdue University, a master’s degree in information security and assurance, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, he boasts several professional certifications from institutions such as MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Glosner serves on the board of directors for HC Media. He and his family live Auburn, N.H.,
River Run Bancorp, the joint mutual holding company for both Newburyport Bank and Pentucket Bank. It was established in 2023, along with River Run Services, LLC, to support and sustain community banking.
